"Zoomer", Mixed Media - newspaper and ink wash
Matthew, who is twelve yrs old, began taking Art Lessons at the Art of Excellence Studio September 2020. In Matthew 's own words:" I have learned how to properly shape and measure objects I want to paint. I have tried painting with watercolor, acrylics and pastels.
My most recent project was of a sports car and I used torn newspaper and permanent ink washes. This was my first time trying to use this media and I think that the newspaper added interest to the subject."
