Advanced Student, Jenny Skripko, completed an acrylic painting of luminous yet often ignored creatures...jellyfish...as they move from the well lit surface into the mysterious depths of the ocean. I think she captures the feeling quite well. Nice, Jenny!

Here are some more completed paintings of winter trees by Art of Excellence Studio Beginners! Fantastic! Advanced student, Daniel Nakhimovich, has completed this brightly accented watercolor scene. He worked from his own original reference photo that was taken on location. He has really developed his ability to add atmospheric effects to his engaging landscapes. Great work, Daniel!  Portfolio Student, Ron Ledeniov, has completed another piece for his portfolio in watercolor. He captured the shimmer of the sun's reflected light on the swimming pool surface by using patterns of resist. Great job, Ron!.  |
