Advanced Student Hannah Greenwald loves to work on portraits! She has just completed this portrait of a young girl using grey-scale chalk pastels on black paper. I think the results are very dramatic. Nice work, Hannah!

 The Scarlet McCaw peeking out of a tree was rendered from an original photo that Jenny Skripko took while vacationing.
She painstakingly developed the details of this painting using dots of acrylic paint. Great job, Jenny! New students and sisters, Naomi and Ariella Fogelman have just completed their first value drawing from observation using charcoal and kneaded eraser! They are off to a great start....fantastic!
