Our Art of Excellence students amazed us this month with stunning black & white pencil creations from portraits, to still life, to scenic views - our students proved the power of pencil art!

Cathy B. - "Happy Couple", a heartfelt portrait gift for her newlywed son with attention to shading and facial detail.
Dominic B. - "Atlas", a striking still life captivating the light and texture of a glass jar filled with paintbrushes - the perfect art scene!
Steve O. - "Gone Fishin'.." a peaceful cabin with a lakefront view perfectly captured in black and white, while giving life and vibrance to the rustic setting.

🎨 Hi everyone! It’s Rina here, and I’m excited to share a few of my own paintings completed over the past 6 - 7 months!
I've been inspired by a rusty red lighthouse, and I created a series of three watercolor paintings capturing it in different moods: in clear weather, as a storm approaches, and at the height of a storm. 
Plus, I’ve got a novel pastel rendition of Goldilocks; a charcoall portrait of a friend's granddaughter; and an inviting oil painting of a glass honey jar.

Meet Flora - a charming portrait brought to life in chalk pastel by Anita N., a very talented student at the Art of Excellence Studio!
Anita beautifully captured the child's mischievous spirit and joyful youth, bringing warmth and personality into every pastel stroke.
​We love seeing our students grow their artistic voice!

Check out the amazing work by senior student artist, Steve O.!  His latest graphite drawings showcase a  wonderful use of texture and detail.

These charming, quaint houses come to life through Steve's careful shading and thoughtful composition. He is developing a signature style that captures peaceful scenery with both skill and heart.

 The Art of Excellence Studio Highlights this stunning oil painting titled "Polar Shift" by High School artist Alex K.!  What began as a nighttime cityscape transformed into something truly electrifying with the addition of the aurora lighting up the sky .This vibrant twist gives the piece a unique, almost otherworldly energy. Originally, this was a painting of a city at night, but a dash of imagination took this artwork to the next level.  Incredible work, Alex.
